Is this perennial hardy enough for outdoor planting in Pacific NW ? The Zone is 7 for this plant. But it does not mean it can take a bad winter in PNW. Has anyone grown this outdoor in the ground in PNW ?
Grew one in the ground for several years before digging it up and replanting in a container when I moved from that garden. Lived for a few more years in a container at the next garden. I think it got too dry one summer and just drifted away :-((
Both locations were on the Sound so likely my plant was not exposed to much cold. Okay in my zone 9 but I might be less sure about a zone 7.
Mine was Aureomaculata or the yellow spotted form, if that makes any difference..
