what color are you looking for? a green? light blue? Do you like what you have swatched?

Any natural light? New White Vanity and what color countertop? New Mirror?

Why paint when you are getting a new vanity , just wait until the new one comes If you must then a shade of gray that works with what you have now.

White like the trim. Two or three coats should do a nice job of covering the gray green. It will be a piece of cake to paint over if you want to change it after you choose your new vanity. If you want a more custom look in the meantime, match the lightest pink streaks in the vanity countertop.

If you will be doing a lot of painting in your new house, it's worth the $40 or so to get a fan deck of paint chips from your favorite paint company. It saves a lot of trips back and forth to pick up yet more paint chips.

Paint the walls (matte) and the trim (satin or semi-gloss) a warm white. If you hate the vanity, paint it! Embrace the pink marble top and paint the vanity pink, replace the hardware and faucet and accessories for brass, also replace the mirror for brass.

Pull one of the colors form the vanity top that is dark enough to make an impression in the room.

If that were me, I'd wait until I could switch the vanity out to do anything. Or if you don't want to wait, paint the vanity as lisev proposed.

I would love a pink powder room! I would go a bit lighter than the color Beverly posted. And it will be easier to cover when you change the vanity (unless you fall in love!).

Another idea is to wallpaper the room with something you like and then make the vanity match your wallpaper. Small rooms are the best for quirky patterns we wouldn’t dare use anywhere else.

I’d try to tie in the pink counter, flooring and the dark vanity. Add a less heavy looking mirror (hung lower) and it can be used with the new vanity down the road. Framed prints would also help tie the colors together and add interest. Consider the bigger picture and how you want room to feel, and bring home lots of paint samples.

This Behr inspiration picture demonstrates how "Contrasting bright walls with dark details has an attractive, pleasing effect." You could keep the vanity and mirror and just paint the walls.
