My first bloom!

Here is my first bloom of the season. Before opened two blooms today. I thought I lost this plant, forgot it got moved…….It has 6 scapes……scapes are really short and blooms are really small. I am just glad it survived the move and climate change. I wont see any other daylilies for quite awhile, nothing else has any scapes.

Isn’t it great to see that first bloom, no matter what it is! Six scapes seems good for a relocated plant.

What an interesting shape this flower has! I am really getting into the ones that twist like that. It won't be long until you see scapes all over the garden.
