Microwave keypad issue

My Kenmore Convection/Microwave keypad gives me intermittent fits. The 'minute plus' and the numeral 1 buttons both go out simultaneously and intermittently. Sometimes they'll function for weeks and then they both do not function for a day, week, or month, and then suddenly work again. I'm assuming there is no simple fix but figured I'd ask.... thanks!

It’s gaslighting you, purposely misbehaving in an attempt to make you think you’ve lost your mind. If there is a fix of any sort, I don’t know it. You could Google local appliance repair shops and see how much it might cost to fix it if it is fixable.

Or, you can kill it and get away with it in any US state. Wirecutter’s best microwave for 2025 was the Panasonic NN-SN67HS that sells for $220 at Walmart. For a multifunction speed oven they recommend the Panasonic HomeChef 4-in-1 Multi-oven that sells for $500 on Amazon.
