Can't wait to tell you all

Last week I was whining how my 23" x 18" Olfa cutting mat was so faded on one side and turning it over wouldn't work because I need the grid lines. Today I was in a local thrift store and there calling my name was a virtually new 23" x 18" Olfa mat for the munificent sum of 1.99! WooHoo. I've already washed it so it's good to go.

Nice! I love it when good things just fall into your lap! Speaking of which, I want to share a new fabric website I found that looks very promising. Maybe y'all know about it already, but I was thrilled to happen upon it. It is called MDG or Marshall Dry Goods. I use alot of tone on tone whites and naturals for backgrounds in my quilts, and with Joanns closing, I was searching for them online. I found so much more!
