They say we should prune shrubs soon after flowering in order not to remove next season’s blooms. But if I’m selectively removing branches to the ground, why would that matter? It is so overwhelming to have to prune ao many shrubs at once. It would be so much easier to do it when there’s not much else to do, like winter. Why can’t I?
