Interior design inspiration for this home style

If the exterior / architectural style is like these below, what would be a great interior look? I'm looking for inspiration images and ideas. Show or tell me your vision for the overall interior look and/or details like light fixtures, furniture, window treatments, etc.

Context is key. What does the inside look like now?

I would think rustic, earthy colors.

I'd have some wood accents, maybe one wall paneled with a nice wood. I'd have simple, natural shapes and natural materials for the furniture. I'd tend toward warm colors. Thisn't my favorite interior, but it has some natural materials, simple shapes and some wood.

Makes me think of organic modern - lots of light and natural materials (pretty minimal but loads of texture)

I am very thankful for the ideas! What flooring look do you picture?

These homes look impersonal, dark, and oppressive on the outside. I'd like to counter that feeling on the inside so you have a sense of entering another world.

Light wood, wide plank floors throughout, warm white walls. Staple furniture with simple, slightly MCM lines. Then I'd mix in antique rugs, arm chairs, and mirrors. All pre-1950s. I'd hang really large pieces of art.

Use great lighting but with clandestine small fixtures that don't call attention to themselves.

I'd think about texture. I'd place seating as close to the windows as possible.

@BeverlyFLADeziner 's second picture is great.

Looking at the exteriors I posted in the OP, if you walked in and saw unpainted wood on the vaulted ceiling, would that look out of place or perfectly appropriate? Right now my vaulted ceiling has a texture similar to this below, but all other rooms have normal flat ceilings with no texture.

Current floors are showing up non-yellow and non-orange finished with water clear matte poly.. A lot of existing wood panel ceilings are yellow/orange wood like pine finished with oil based yellowing clear. That's the problem. Wide 7-12" pale European Oak engineered flooring is available from almost every source.

Leans a little MCM West Elm direction. Please post interior photos. You haven't given anything to work with on the interiors. Answers will depend on whether you have open space that includes kitchen cabinets, which will have to be taken into account. If you're just moving in, you want to focus on furniture placement and lighting so the interiors are well lit and there's plenty of visual and actualy flow around the space.

This last one is a knockout--light floors but wood ceilings. Everything pretty light but with darker contrast with rug, chairs, art.

Here is how to post a Design Dilemma to get the best results. (Post only one thread on same Dilemma. You can add photos to original thread.) You need to show the whole space—all four sides of an entire space—even if it’s about one specific Dilemma. Commenters need to see doorways, windows, closets, finishes throughout the space to make informed suggestions. In open spaces, Commentors need to see adjacent spaces like living, dining, family room areas that adjoin a kitchen. This is so finishes like cabinetry, paint, and flooring harmonize in the while space.

State right at the beginning what the room will be used for and who will use it. State the non-negotiables at the beginning, what has to be kept. Give some idea of the budget. And provide approximate measurements

Keep in mind that you're inviting some design pros and people with a design eye into your home via photos. If they walked into your actual space, they would take in all of it: all four sides, doorways, floors, windows, ceiling, built-in fixtures, lighting, trim--the "givens"--then the features that can be changed--furnishings, paint, art, rugs, decor items, etc. It's all one first impression. Same thing with photos. That's why it's important to provide well lit photos of the entire space, taken from all sides of a room regardless of the size of your problem.

I will make a discussion thread to work through the design of my home, and I'll include photos of every room with floorplan, dimensions, etc.

My intention when I started this discussion topic was to get some general inspiration. Here are a couple photos of the main space taken last fall when we first moved in:

Don't start a new thread. Otherwise, commentors won't have seen what others have posted already. You have a nice selection of inspiration photos, but they were just guesses. Come back to this thread when you're ready for more specific advice.

You have had puzzles with this house interior for quite awhile did none of those ideas help. This is why posts on the same subject but posted seprately are always bad.
