For the exterior of our house we opted to get a smooth stucco finish. The contractor first did a smaller wall several weeks ago. It has one hairline crack. However the work they've done for the front of the house is full of cracks. Attaching photos below.

They put paper and lathe, then a rough coat first which was finally topped off with the smooth finish. I think this is the traditional process.

Any advice on what the issue could be and how to fix it?
