What is your goal in trying to cover the windows? Privacy? Light control? Purely aesthetic?

If you're concerned about covering too much of the window glass, you can mount the blinds or shades above the windows so that when they are fully retracted they don't cover any of the glass.

Also, they really are so short that I can't imagine anyone being able to see inside. How high off the floor are they? Please show what they look like on the inside.

Agree any covering can be hung to allow as much view/light as you want.

This is why it's good to have a designer look at your plans early on to make sure furnishings layouts and window covering solutions are addressed. The windows on the second floor don't seem logical. More double hung windows would have been murch easier. Window coverings can be bought off the shelf from a big box store instead of having to order custom solutions.

Beverly, someone was trying to prove that they are a "creative" designer and/or architect! It just looks silly.

Use inside mount Duette cellular shades. When open the stack is around 3". You can get them with light filtering or room darkening fabric. Get them in a color that matches your trim and they will mostly "disappear".

The windows are both privacy and filter.

I have a video but no picture

You can stop a video and screen shot the image if you are trying to create and photo.

This is idiotic to ask but how to screen shot?

Do you know how to use a computer? Google it. It will give you instructions on a variety of ways to do it.

Find you snipping tool, cut and save then post.

Are these set in bunk beds? Custom shutters or just cafe curtains?
