Flooring color and type? Layout and size of the kitchen? Surrounding rooms (especially of open concept)? Natural light? Type of cabinets? Appliances and finish? Nothing is chosen in a vacuum.

Your quartzite is beautiful! I think I would like it with a white cabinet, which would highlight the quartzite's movement in the white portions of the stone. The dark brown could also work but would highlight the dark veining which you may or may not want. The white oak may look a bit bland.

I would go with a slightly warmer white oak. Are you going to use any backlighting for the slab?

We are not planning on using the backlight, we got the stone, now picking cabinet and floor color.

We really need to know more about your kitchen - what style doors, how much lighting, what material for the floors, what is the size of your kitchen? What is the vibe you are going for? Are you doing a waterfall as in the image you showed? Anything could look great or horrible depending on everything else you are surrounding it with.

Wood grain could look busy with the pattern of the stone.

I once had dark cabinets and you could see every speck of dirt and finger print on them. Something to consider.
