We need a to scale plan but off the top put the TV on a wall not on anangle the wall by the stairs seems a good spot then the sofa in front of the window facing the TV and lose one chair Too many different chirs just add too the jumble . Then a low cabinet to keep the TV at the proper viewing height the cabinet for the TV long enough to hold stuff and bigger pieces of art and all hung at approx. 63" to the center of the art or the center of the group of pics.. Little tables with no purpose do not belong A to scale floor plan with all measurements marked will get better help too.

Hello! Lovely room! I think it was work better to place the tv and unit in the center of the back wall there. It might do better to get a larger/longer tv console though. The sofa could stay where it is, but the chair/ottoman would need to be placed diagonally from where it is now, angled towards the tv and sofa, next to the window. The smaller tan recliner could probably then go where the tv is now. Or, instead of that chair, you could place a nice, large/tall plant in that corner. A longer console such as the attached one from Pottery Barn is suggested. Or, you could benefit from a whole wall unit with the bookcases and tv on that back wall such as the one pictured here. I would suggest a coffee table in front of the sofa as well.

This is pretty easy because you've already got a good arrangement. The tv across the corner gives a diagonal view for almost everyone. That widens the function. I'd move the chair on the left back to the left of the window, if you want, and that's it. Moving that chair takes it out of the witness chair feeling.

The next option places the sofa in front of the window with the tv opposite where the two pictures are hanging now. This may mean you close the drapes to avoid the tv showing to the outside unless it's fully private. You can group two chars along the back wall and one chair at this entrance end tying into the sofa. No larger console. You can go with a larger tv wall mounted or on a minimal console the width of the tv feet/stand.

Have you considered creating two separate seating areas? You might try floating the sofa in the space, facing the TV, and having the TV be in the middle of the wall it is currently on. Then flank the TV with two chairs. You could then place a sofa table behind the sofa floating in the space and do 2-4 swivel chairs around an ottoman behind the sofa.
