    I would limewash the brick.

I'd select a carriage style garage door to replace the existing one.

I like the limewash idea. I'd also paint the garage door to fade into the house. In no way am I saying the picture below is the right color, I used a paint visualizer to find something that showed your house with the garage door painted and had to pick a color. At a minimum, paint the garage door to look like your current brick. The roof lines are interesting, I like them. Maybe paint the garage door and do landscaping and not paint the house. You didn't mention your budget. Does the dog protect the chickens?

    Love the free range chickens!!!

Your house has nice structure but lacks curb appeal. Before you touch the brick, consider:

    1) power washing the garage doors, gutter above it and maybe the driveway.

    2) adding pots of flowers by the front entry and perhaps painting the front door a color.

    3) seeding lawn bare spots (if the chickens will cooperate) and adding landscaping to the front - trees, shrubs shrubs, plants - with color in the leaves/flowers.

    Please post after photos!

Good advice already - if it were me, I’d replace the garage door (looks damaged along the bottom but maybe its the picture?), get new bigger/chunkier lights for either side of the garage and add lots of landscaping (that’s where I spend the bulk of my money)

First thing I will recommend is that you give your house a good cleaning. Would not pressure wash the brick as that will damage brick and mortar and cause water intrusion. Second suggestion is to replace the existing garage door with one that has lites (windows) in some portion of it.

Agree with Norwood Architects. Looks like brick just needs a good cleaning and garage door replacement may just be what your house needs. Let us know how it goes!

I wouldn't mess with the brick (except to clean it). I would focus on landscaping.

If paint and brick are in good shape don't change. Add color with landscaping. Flank entry with some larger interesting planters with seasonal color. LOW growing evergreen shrub in bed under the windows or two tall skinny ones on either side and flowers under window. Get bulbs, irises and mums that come back every year and add annuals to fill in.

Compost that Chicken poo to fertilize flowers.

When cars are parked in the driveway, it can be a tight squeeze for guests to walk up to the front door. Adding a walkway which can be accessed from the driveway (approximately where the dog is) will help make the entry the main focal point instead of the garage door. Landscaping and lighting can soften the edges, add color and texture.

The first photo just illustrates possible placement for a walkway.
