Which pillows are better as the base?

need help with color and size. originally got the ivory and black to start and just found the darker ones. love both but 24 x 24. want smaller in front.

You can use pillows of the same size together, just space them along the sofa like this. Yours are nearly solid color, so it might look interesting to add a medium to large size pattern, or an accent color.

The darker pillows provide contrast and tie in with the dark accents in your space, as you see. With the style of your room, I think you only need the two dark pillows, really. Less can be more. I would possibly just add a throw in the corner.

Consider a few different warm shades and play around with quantity and location. I’d use the darker shade to build from.

Thx for all of the input. sorry i was fealing with a family issue; not ghosting my discussion. i have no pribkem experimenting with warmer colors i just have trouble with color coordination. will use the darker as base just did nit know how to add to it as the large iviry ones are too large.

IMO if you need to move pillows to sit down you have too many. Get some color into the space and maybe the shape is wrong I think Beverly has the best layout since where she put the plillows in the corner is perfect since no one sits there .

Go to Etsy. There are so many unique and interesting pillows there. Got a few for you to see. Lots of patterns.

This lumbar is CB2 and looks good with the modern organic vibe of your room.

RH pillows - stupidly expensive but I like that the black isn't bold but has a more subtle feel. It will blend rather than pop against your sofa.

You’ll get a better sense once you actually try a few combinations. Suggest bringing a cushion with you shopping to help narrow down a few combinations and test at home. Try HomeSense/Marshalls as they carry a wide selection at great prices. Test different textures/sizes and suggest heading towards natural/light/modern, as it’s important to consider the effect in the room as well.
