Honed Quartz Issue and Maintenance

last year

Recently installed honed quartz in our kitchen (MSI Soapstone Metropolis Concrete), wish i would've have done more research before selecting this, but here we are (would absolutely tell people to avoid this). Maintenance is pretty bad (fingerprints, water marks, marks from any metal, etc.) The cleaning is constant, but until now cleaning has gotten the counter back to a clean state.

But what I'm facing now is, at the advice of our installer and in the maintenance guide from MSI, I used Barkeepers Friend soft cleanser to remove the hard to remove metal marks, and now we have what are seemingly permanent blemishes/scuff marks that look pretty bad in multiple places across the counter.

Has anyone dealt with this or have a remedy? The advice of our installer now is to use Tenax Quartz Toner Plus, which I've found limited info on, and what I have found seems somewhat mixed. But overall I'm hesitant to do this, but also in my opinion the counter looks pretty awful so what more harm could be done. At this point I'm almost at the point of seeing what we can do to replace the whole counter
