Hey all! I'm planning a new IG pool build here in SoCal and finalizing layout before we break ground. One thing that keeps popping up in my research is people saying, “wish I had run more conduit” or “should’ve added that extra gas line.”

I’d love to hear from folks who’ve been through it:

• Did you pre-run extra conduit for future lighting, speakers, or automation gear?
• Add a gas line stub for a future fire pit or outdoor kitchen?
• Plan for low voltage or ethernet for cameras or Wi-Fi extenders?
• Anything you forgot or wish you’d placed differently, especially near the equipment pad or decking?

Trying to future-proof a bit without overthinking it. Appreciate any ideas you’d do differently if you had a second shot at your build.
