A light shade maybe even a griege like BM Revere Pewter that reads gray green will reflect more heat off your west wall. Might be a good thing in Central California!

You need to make sure that your cream paint color doesn't look dingy next to your white windows. You also need to paint your garage door - that would make a big difference in how your house looks. Right now, my eye went right to the garage doors because they are bright white!

@dani_m08 do you think the garage doors stay the same as main exterior with the trim being the cream white? Or Should the trim around the garage door be the house color too? That would leave very little trim.

You could paint the trim around the garage doors the same color as the rest of your trim (that's what I've done with my garage doors). You have nice looking brick - I don't feel like you need to paint it. If you want to, you should go ahead and do it - but use something like Romabio that's made for brick. It's a mineral based paint/lime wash that allows the brick to breathe.

However, you don't have ugly brick, so I would pass on painting. Also, color paint that you are looking at for the body of your house will look nice with that brick.
