I am trying to regrow my rose

last year

Could someone please help me I am trying to regrow my Rose that I got from my husband
It is starting to regrow but I am trying to figure out what size of pot to put my rose in to trying to regrow them so I have 🌹 s in my home I love flowers and grow different things I have the rose in a tall cup n it is regrowing now but I don't remember what size I should put the flower in so I can grow more of them
I would like to get some extra help on this
