A stained glass window. Drapes underneath.

Remove the trim from that window and have it drywalled there. It would just become a false window on the exterior.

Disappear? I guess you will have to get a contractor to take out the window .

Just let it be and do what ever you like on the rest of it.

This arrangement of windows like that has so many disadvantages. It can be so difficult to do much with.

I used to have a small business of window furnishings and I would never take the job for these windows . They required too much for my small business to deal with. I left those to the teams of guys with muscles and big ladders and lots of insurance.......as it should be.

I did do a special gathered sheer piece one time for a special window. And that is one thing that you can do is to a gathered sunburst of sheer fabric in that one window, or not.

Sometimes those windows can really focus the bright sun into the room.

What does disappear mean? Is the light an issue? Hang a curtain rod at the casing of the two windows and hang floor length panel and call it DONE. Transoms have no reason to be covered.

Something like this might be you only option.

Remove the window. Or place a piece of board in it. Paint the board and trim the same color as the wall.

I would look into removing that window it makes no sense but of course a lot depends on the exterior too. If that is not possible I think in this case the idea to cover it makes sense it is in no way attractive like the one that Beverly shows and that idea IMO will only bring attention to areally bad design
