Wall to wall drapes usually pull back to the walls. There isn't any room to put up framed artwork under the curtains, if that is what she is thinking about. Simple curtains that frame the window instead of running wall to wall would allow room for framed artwork on that wall.

I’m not sure that wall to wall drapes would work well here. It would look odd to see all that wall exposed when opened. Hanging drapes to cover the window only plus stack back would be better. Maybe paint the walls a colour to tie in with the couch and carpet.

Also, the TV is hung too high. It should sit on the cabinet beliw it , if not lower. Hard to tell from the pic.

It looks like BeverlyFLADeziner had a good idea about the drapes. Have you considered switching the couch and the tv positions? It would be nice to look out the window from the couch.

Thank you Expobaby.The photo is deceiving. the wall were the sofa is located is the longer wall. Now to choose color in the for a bold and cozy room. The sofa is apple green.

To choose a color, take a photo of the entire room in natural light, as well as separately from a close distance - the sofa, carpet and other items that will be in the room. Are you considering painting the walls or wallpaper?

The room has just been painted all white from gray. My thought are tan and white drapes, hazel credenza, black and white art work behind the soda. The is a animal print chair, a tall faux plant by the window. I want to ad some color with pillows and art work by the window that has color it .

Or these drapes are another choice.
