Bathroom mirror

We are remodelling our main bathroom & replacing our 1960s vanity. I have chosen a beautiful 60” vanity with a single sink. We don’t need two sinks in this bathroom & would prefer the counter space.
I am thinking of doing one larger mirror above the sink - not two smaller ones. I like the look of two mirrors but feel that it wouldn’t work with one sink. Am I right?

I like a lot of mirror in a bath as it gives the most flexibility - I would also say one mirror that spans the vanity but it would be easier to offer thoughts with a photo of the space

No for sure to 2 mirrors with only 1 sink but it would be nice to see a picture for more suggestions for your mirror.

You are right - one mirror. The next suggestion is the shape when you share pics.

I hate overhead lighting in a bathroom (aside from in a powder room), so for me, a 60" single sink vanity is great because you can easily fit sconces on both sides for the best lighting. Here are some configurations others did (some without sconces if that's really what you want):
