I have never seen rows of mature Liberty, Sagae or Empress WU planted in clumps but property is so vast one specimen gets lost in universe. Those clumps of japanese grass were breathtaking.

And the owner of day lilies has over 650 varieties in the border and does hybridization herself too, I was so taken with them that almost did not take pics of her hosta garden...

I can not say enough good things how people worked on those garden tours, so many various gardens, talented gardeners, knowledgeable people.

In the morning it was pretty rainy and I was doubting myself whether we should do this pretty longish drive ... Glad we did.

I really like the water feature with the dark rocks. Beautiful gardens!

There are series of waterfalls, with natural ravine and small creek / natural or artificial not sure as well as large formal pool. It appeared that all main water features were connected somehow.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the huge swaths of Liberty and the Japanese grass. Well worth the drive! This is prime time for daylily blooms.

And the art - love all the art in the garden :-)
