Garage Ceiling Design Idea

I wasn’t planning to install sheetrock on the ceiling area marked with a blue X. Aside from blending it in by painting it to match the wood tone, do you have any creative ideas to make it look intentional or decorative? This is a garage remodel that will have storage along one wall and a work/gaming desk on the other.

So it won't be a garage any longer? Browns never look like wood because they are flat vs veined/grained like wood. What are you painting the walls?

If you meant a car garage - no, it won't be anymore. Husband want to have a Golden State Warrior theme now, so blue & yellow.

I plan to put 2 computer desks, a sofa on one side of the wall. Other side is for shelves, cabinet, bikes. So, not really a loft.

Can't figure out from pic nor your description, but appears to have a floor above a portion here where you are asking about. If so drywall that ceiling with 5/8" Type X, doesn't matter what you use the space for, this is as long as you have an overhead garage door.

You MUST drywall all of that.
