My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Carp. The Devil that is Southern Blight.

Southern Blight was brought into my garden by a friend more than 20 years ago, who gifted me a hosta she’d bought in her travels. My yard is subject to periodic inundation which helped to spread the beast. I was able to locate Prostar, and with that and judicious culling I thought I had it beat. I’ve seen no signs of it in 10 years, until now. Hot and extremely humid weather, as many of you have now. I hadn’t been in this part of the garden in a week, and here he is. The Devil.




I will carefully cull, and try to dig out dirt to get all those ’mustard seeds’. I still have some of the Prostar powder, but it’s old, and I’m wondering if there is a better solution now?

    Happy to hear there are signs of life that look good. Kudos to Ben for suggesting this product. I will save this post for that product. I may not get SB, but may have other fungal issues pop up.
