This is a rental???? The counters were the wrong choice so maybe a more greige wall color to try to connect those 2 very different tones . Maybe Edgecomb Gray but cut 25% Tricky to get right the other choice would be the white from the counter and be done.

Thanks so much. We're gettign ready to sell my client's house and I suggested lightening up the hous ebcuase it looks so dark. The quartz counters are what I struggle with becuase anything like "Swiss Coffee" has to much yellow in it for the kitchen.

Given your tan/beige travertine floors, light wood cabinetry, and cool gray quartz counters, you’ll want a neutral-to-warm white that complements both the warm flooring and the cool counters without feeling stark.

If you want subtle contrast, you can use the same color for walls and trim but in different sheens (eggshell on walls, semi-gloss on trim).

Or, pick a slightly brighter white for the trim (e.g., Chantilly Lace for trim with White Dove walls) to make it pop subtly without going icy.

You are doing something nice for your elderly client, and you shouldn't have to justify your actions.

You might also try Atrium White, which has some pink in it.

Just a vote to test the white in the space, which can feel like an annoying step when trying to help your client get it done but it makes a huge difference (i recently painted a room SW greek villa, which I was sure I would like bit it’s a bit stark - ugh) and I agree with @Diana Bier Interiors, LLC - it’s great you’re helping her, hope it works out well for you both ✨

Ah, such good points. Thanks for the help. I'll buy some small samples to paint a few of thos stick up sheets so that she can see what the colors look like in different lights. Appreciate all the help.
