Looking for ideas on what to do about lighting in our open concept for the area over the couch.

I hate the builder fan that was installed. We have been in the house almost a year.

The room gets plenty of light. We don't ever turn the overhead lights on... a lot of can lights. At night we use lamps. I don't like that fan, and want to chang to something else.

I have ordered a vintage style pendant over the breakfast table. I like the distressed look and have been picking that up in the fixtures for the entry and dining room. I also want to add touches of gold to accent the hardware in the space. I would like something that is inviting when you enter the room from our long entry. It is a 12 ft ceiling. I do tend to lean into the modern farmhouse look. Later this year we will be adding wood beams to the ceiling to warm the space up a bit more. Should i just put a different fan? We don't ever use the fan that is there. Thanks for the feedback! Always helpful.
