What software...or app are you using to do room mock ups?

I want to visualize a large fan in MY great room. What software would you use to put the two photos together? Something quicker than Photoshop....? (I do own a version of Photoshop)

I've been using chat gpt - it has recovered furniture for me, put wallpaper in a room and helped me mock up a few things for questions I answered on the design dilemma side.

It's fairly simple. Upload a picture of the room and the item in the comment box and then tell it what you want. The free version is not unlimited so after a few tries it will cut you off until the next day.

I use the paid version of Canva. So easy and fun. It has a feature called “magic grab” so you can isolate an item (ie a painting, sofa, mirror…) to move/remove and drop in another. I’m not sure if the unpaid version offers that feature.
I also use Canva to make graphics for invitations, holiday cards, newsletter images... It’s very useful.

It’s no help with plan drawings unfortunately. I’m struggling with a kitchen and still on the hunt for an app for that.

@deegw...yep! Tried that 1st...it takes forever....but....on a lap top, not a phone....?

I entered this last night....just now it's visible....

I asked for furnishing options. Notice...it changed the railing...I like those! I can't do it...or I take out the decorative rails, the spacing won't be to code.

Nicole, sometimes if ChatGPT is lagging I'll refresh the page and the picture shows right up. If it's slow because it's busy it will usually let me know.

And yes, sometimes it takes liberties with other items in the room!
