But a beautiful rose

From some long past year!?

Gave up on HT roses years ago.

Today, in a neglected area where once grew two or three HTs I saw this.

Without gloves I didnt dig to see what root there was. Of course I (guiltily)

want to help it thrive . Is there any chance it could? How to tell?

The only ones I remember there were my beloved Just Joey and another was red, not resembling this bloom at all.

Beyond dissing my poetry and my giving up on HTs, can you suggest anything I could or should do? TIA!
