I acannot imagine how he looks out thta window with those heavy wood blinds that aslo add one more wood tone to that space .So many things in a office can go wireless . I assume he works from home so what does he NEED in the space . I usually try to keep clutter in the closet in an office space too much stuff for me makes it hard to work. Waht is the pirpose of the arm chairs in the space ? You call it a study so what exactly is the space used for daily?The desk is lovely and the office chair but the rest of the cabinets are a mish mash of styles . I do not see how custom bookshelves are going to be used. So I guess I need more info.

DRAW, measure all. Walls, window, french doors, door to WHERE ? and note the size of french doors, window width every inch.

Where does, the other door lead, please? A bath? Or a closet?

That’s a nice room with the french doors - do you need the large armoir for storage? Could the printer fit in there?

I would want a fresh coat of paint and would probably do a warm cream to jibe with the carpet, more colorful artwork would be a nice addition as well. I would want some large lamps so I did not have to use the overhead lamp but that’s just me

I cannot suggest a furniture layout without a floorplan showing all dimensions. However I can suggest you paint the walls a warm white and replace the blinds with a roman shade.
