I have 10 Allegheny viburnum that I need to relocate for a drain line down my property.

I just planted these a year or two ago and they’re relatively still small, about 3’.

I don’t know what to do with these and had an idea of planting them under a row of 3 evenly spaced Armstrong maples.

I know these shrubs aren’t usually kept in formal hedge shapes, but they’d been to be maintained as a 3’ hedge under these trees.

I’m thinking I’d probably have a high maintenance situation trying to shape a hedge that wants to be 10’ tall. Possibly pruning multiple times a year?

Otherwise, I need some idea on where to donate these.
