Would you paint entry area walls a dark color?

last year

We are completely repainting the interior of this house before we move in, and I’ve narrowed down choices - I’m not a white walls person. This tiny entryway shown on the right side of the photo leads into the living room (NOT my furniture and that won’t be staying) - I’m choosing some kind of a warm undertone neutral for the living room with reddish (not yellow) undertones because we have some burgundy leather chairs we love going into the space. Question for this group - for just the tiny little entryway shown area immediately through the front door, I am going to leave the trim “white” but would you consider black for the bit of drywall in there? Or another strong color choice? Thank you!
