Ours are 5% and our yard faces south east. We find them perfect. Today is a cloudy day be it’s still decently bright inside. I won’t turn the lights on. I find them super helpful for sun filtering and to keep the space cool.

None of that mixed stuff if you want to have the shades down and still be able to see the view.

Your choice of colors would be on the bottom row. IMO I would match the frame of your windows.

I am in Florida. I installed solar shades 18 years ago for my windows and have NEVER RAISED THEM EVEN ONCE, except to clean the glass on the windows. Once they are installed your forget they are there and as long as you keep the view that's what you want to see.

Ahhh so no pattern! thank goodness i asked! i want as much visibilty as possible. would 10% do anything for the beating sun?

Now trying to find 7% as the hunter douglas ones are only 1, 5 and 10 and i think the 5 is a little too much of a barrier as well.....

With your black windows I would prefer a black solar shade.

Does anyone know what companies sell them in 7%? I can't seem to find any. thx
