Honestly, I had to look 3 times before I realized the "brass" was on the vanity.

So it obviously doesn't stick out.

I think either would be fine.

I think you can do better on the mirror, it seems too casual, industrial against the wallpaper. The wallpaper and vanity are really pretty and more elegant. Smaller mirror, maybe oval. Bring several home in different shapes and colors and see what you like best.

Current hardware and mirror are both good. There is a very cool eclectic vibe in here and chrome hardware seems too matchy matchy. Your mirror is nice too. I wouldn’t have give the size a second thought had you not mentioned it.

Find a really great hand towel - not just a solid color. It will divert your eye from focusing on all of the details you are looking at so closely (of couse you are, we all do at this point in a project.) Then live with things as they are for two months and see if anything needs a tweak.
