Kind of late to be thinking of the ROOF?

Use wide boards, 6" x whatever, gaps for air/ slats essentially. Paint the entire thing, plantings around it. We don't even know where the door is.

Thank you everyone. House on roof is a traditional dark grey, architectural shingles.  

Then you roof the same as the house, and ventilate a side that will not be in view!

We don't even know where you access for serving the equipment!

This didn’t seem well planned. it‘s way too close to the pool. Where is the service door? I wouldn’t put a roof on it but stain the fencing the darker color of your perimeter fence and plant around it so it’s less noticable.

Instead of disguising it, you’ve highlighted it with a game of, “guess what’s in the big box?” I’d build a knee wall just between the pool and equipment with some kind of tie in with the steps and plantings around the other side

Not going to beat on you, but if you can afford the pool, you could afford the decent disguise? Maybe put a roof on, cut ventilation into the "gate" we can't see, paint it, plant Arborvitae around it and hide it.
