I have chosen stainless steel appliances for my kitchen, if the handles on my cabinets are black and accessories such as fruit bowl are black should the faucet and pot filler be black or should they be chrome to match the appliances.

You certainly do NOT worry on a fruit bowl.

Stainless appliances count as ONE metal finish.

Is the sink stainless, or a white farm sink? I would do a stainless faucet.

Then pick any other you like, for cabinet hardware, Satin nickel, a warm brass, or black, champagne bronze .

I would not be inclined to a black faucet and pot filler. Even if your cabinet hardware is already selected , is on the cabinets and is black.

You will thank me in a couple years : )

Note if your cabinets are white? I usually avoid black pulls and knobs, as it makes a rather spotty/nervous, jumpy effect.

Black finishes on faucets, drains, etc., do not always last long. We have black faucets & drains (all are Moen) in our new-to-us house and the the black finish in the drains is already either "chipping" or completely chipped off and the faucets have what appear to be nicks and scratches in the finish. The house was built in 2020, so not that long ago. (They were like that when we purchased the home in December 2024.)

Do you mean "Stainless"? faucet or chrome faucet?

I see no reason for chrome faucet/pot filler, if the sink is stainless? I'd match the sink: )

WHY?

The sink is stainless, and the appliances, and if hardware is black.... a stainless faucet is great.

We know nothing of all else in the kitchen : )

She keeps confusing her words in her comments and metals.......when she says "chrome", she means stainless.
