They are a well known proven window, known for quality and thermal performance. The better vinyl windows are sold through smaller and more regional companies.

The price us hard to comment on without knowing a bit more details.

Okna make a very good window and better constructed and more efficient than andersen. Okna has been around for over 30 years and has no debt, I would not worry about that. The higher end vinyl windows are sold through qualified dealer networks which helps keep some of those bad news "jack of all trades" types away from the better products. Pricing seems good but sometimes it is regional. What state are you in heleneo1974 and also what series Okna did you see?

+1. Okna is well know as a top perfromer among professionals, they just don't have the household name recognition of the "big 3".

As far as pricing, that's going to be dependent on which model, option content, sizing, operator type, etc etc. With that said, for a full frame/new construction installation that pricing is definitely within the normal range.

We had Okna 800 series replacement windows installed two years ago and often remark on how great they are. They function beautifully and really keep the cold midwest weather outside where it belongs. The 600 series are lovely as well, but I preferred the look of the 800.

I just confirmed the installer we are using only carries the 600 series. We have a few newer Andersen windows that we are keeping. Will these work well together or will it be obvious that the Okna are vinyl? Also, we are installing 25 windows, not 35.

The Andersen windows are the 400 series

It will be noticable. How much depends on the individual.

Will it impact resale value?

No, it wont impact resale value, if anything, it will help it since Okna is much more efficient. I would not worry about a few newer andersen's. We do that quite often with a very similar window. That okna 600 is a very nice window.
