Looking for lighting suggestions for this kitchen/dining room Reno.

The beam in the middle will need to stay as we just removed that wall. Currently there is a light in the middle of the kitchen, above the sink and the pendant light in the dining area. The ceilings are only 8ft. The beam has a spot I could put lighting which would be easiest but open to other ideas.

** NOT open to suggestions re: layout as the cabinets/island are paid for and being built so there is no going back now :)
