I prefer the first over the second. I'd also prefer them to be larger than what you show here. However, both are neutral in what appears to be a completely neutral room. Are you strongly oriented toward all neutrals or are there any colors you love and would like to incorporate into the room?

To be noted, hate the vote feature. The room feels forced against curtains too dark ( pick ONE please) and the gray walls a bit of a reach.

I am in favor of a much larger and more solid colored rug.

IMO the room calls for a bit of color

Everything was blue so im slowly transitioning it into warmer, neutral tones. I started with the rug and curtains.
