Help id a hydrangea tree

My son in Richmond VA has a few hydrangea trees (maybe?) by the road. they are about 10’ by 10’ in size

The flowers are white however later they will turn pink.

I don’t recall if the leaves will turn color later. I managed to root a few cuttings last fall and they have been growing all right in ground

I would like to know if this is a hydrangea and if so what variety it is.
