I noticed this strange looking tree. From the looks of the leaves it seems to me like it may be an evergreen oak, and if so that would make it kind of rare and interesting (for this region). Can anyone identify what species it might be?

It's in Western Washington state.

I talked to the old man who owned the property and he said he wasn't sure what kind of tree it was. It was there before he bought the property. The man said he wasn't really sure if it kept its leaves in the winter, it's not something he would pay attention to or remember.

If anyone is curious, the address is 7334 Cooper Point Rd NW, Olympia, WA. It's out towards the end of the peninsula.

Edit: I put the picture in an online plant ID tool, and it seems to think the plant is some sort of Salix (willow). If that's the case, then it probably wouldn't be evergreen. But I'm not sure. There are some Quercus species that have leaves that look very close in appearance to its leaves.
