Help! Wallpaper dilemma

last year

Flooring is basket weave marble, shower is subway tile marble. I would love a little metallic but I need to keep a smaller print as I don’t have any large walls - mostly cut up pieces, correct? The large window brings in a lot of light and I will have two mirrors rather than one huge flat piece of glass. Ideally I would like the water closet in a coordinating paper which could be a larger print, right? Thanks

Mary it’s hard to understand what you need. You want a metallic wallpaper for the bathroom? (I’d say no) and you want a larger scale wallpaper for the toilet room (that might be fine but hard to tell with what you’ve posted so far). Are you looking for wallpaper suggestions? Best to post flooring and vanity/countertop too if you do. Also knowing what colors are in the adjoining bedroom would be helpful

Yes, wallpaper suggestions. Perhaps a better description would be a little shimmer vs metallic? OR maybe not! My dilemma is size of print and dark or white background of the paper. The countertops are basically white with specks/veins of blue gray, black framed mirrors, (my husbands choice 🤔) brushed nickel faucets.

Bedroom colors are grayish with a touch of beige and black. No pics bc it’s on order. And this

Please post pic of countertop sample and mirrors so we know the style. Subway tile and basket weave say traditional but not sure if that is the direction you are going in or not. We need some

    more visual info from you.

    Do you have inspo pics?

What are you using for window covering / privacy?

The light in here is lovely. I’d try to achieve shimmer from the hardware. Instead of brushed go with polished.

Also, you say the space is small with blocks of wall space. Black mirros with chunk up the walls even more.

@Mary Duke - You posted the same question twice in two different threads. Can you delete the other thread and move the pics of your floor and counter into the comments on this thread instead?

Sorry. I’m trying to delete this mistake!

I saw both of these in your idea books.

Up close this makes sense. But when you zoom out, it does not.

I really like the colors of this grey and white one you posted. It is busy for your space but the colors tame it. And, I think busy doesn't seem to bother you. Correct?

    What is your vanity?

Yes. I’m hoping for “stunning “ rather than “busy” 😊 not my vanity but I like it b

Vanities are fossil gray which has a hint of blue with a darker gray. The large window will have white plantation shutters. Rejuvenation rectangular mirror with black frames.

Do you have a pic of the vanity you selected?

I think your floor and shower tile look nice and I’d be ok with just about any wallpaper with it for the toilet room. But I’d first focus on a paint color that harmonizes with your vanity and bedroom colors for the main room. Then once that’s established the wallpaper for the smaller enclosed room will naturally start to click. Plantation shutters for window will block a lot of light - and can you comfortably get to them to open and close (if not you run the risk of always leaving them open which will change the airy vibe of the bath). If there a way to have the kind that the top half can stay open and the bottom half closed - that might help…

Sorry meant to say you run the risk of always leaving the shades CLOSED.

I did order the top/bottom separate close and can leave the top half open all the time with privacy. Thanks for your suggetions - much appreciated!
