how many chandeliers and pendants?

last month

Hi all! I’m in the process of furnishing and accessorizing my new townhome and need input on how many, and not being too many, ceiling lights I should have.
Place is a 4 story townhome.
1st floor - garage and guest suite with bath
2nd floor - main living room with kitchen, great room and dining room (main focus of this post)
3rd floor - primary bedroom, two additional bedrooms, laundry, bathrooms and loft
4th floor - additional loft and outdoor rooftop deck

Main thing is, for the second floor main living area, the ceilings are tall, about 11 feet, and pre wired for dining, living room and island lights.

I have a large chandelier over the dining table being installed, and coordinating pendants for the island

For the living room, which is right next to the kitchen and dining room, even though it’s wired already for a fixture, would it be too many in the same area? Please see photos for reference.

I’m thinking, since the dining table chandelier and island pendants are in brass, if I do go with a fixture for the living area, I could do white fabric or even perhaps more of a flush mount (but again it’s 11 feet up)

Thoughts? Thanks!
