Autumn Joy (Herbstfreude) is the name of one particular cultivar of Hylotelephium spectabile, previously Sedum spectabile. The species is variable and there are several cultivars too. So it's likely yours is one of them. It appears a bit gangly. Probably due to low light.

Probably not 'Autumn Joy". Despite shade, the flowers start out a pale pink, turn red and then mature to a brick color.

But there are a zillion of these sedum/hylotelephium cultivars and hybrids with flower colors ranging from a pale greenish white, yellow, pale pink, neon pink, reds and purples. Wide selection of foliage colors as well. Could be one of a dozen or more different selections.

They are turning pink. My point is that they start out pure white. Autumn Joy definitely doesn't do that?

We've both explained that we don't think it's Autumn Joy. There are lots of hybrids and cultivars of Hylotelephium spectabile. You have one of these other ones.

OK, you did say that Autumn Joy starts out with pink flowers. This does not. But I've seen lists of a dozen Hylotelephium spectabile cultivars, and none seem to match the characteristics of mine. I guess I have some rare and uinpopular version?

If you could move it to a sunnier location it would show better characteristics. I also do not think it is AJ but right now it is lanky from lack of light. That lack of light would affect the flower colour as well.

As well as sub optimal growing conditions yours might be a seedling. In which case it will not have a name. White spevimens often turn pink with age.
