layout suggestions please

We are looking to convert the garage into utility/mudroom with small shower room. The current utility area is very small, atm it’s a sink and a tower washing machine and dryer and space for the door. We don’t have a big budget to extend out so looking to do a garage conversion instead. Game room also look too long for what we need so we are thinking if any potential to have some part of a pantry room and change the kitchen layout too.

I would be very grateful for any suggestions please.

personally I would keep the garage....what are the dimensions. If you can open wall between kitchen and game room i'd extend a new kitchen that way . May Need structural work on that wall / but the game room seems excessive at 18 feet when you have a family room and living room already. What is the gray square in the middle with the stove and sink? do you lack entry door from garage into the home? once you cut a door in the rear wall of garage there is good space there by taking part of existing kitchen..... since kitchen will be redone anyway...... what are the general wants for a new kitchen? Several questions to answer/issues to prioritize before a specific plan can proceed.....

Garage is the same dimensions of the game room. We would like to keep them as a spare bedroom plus one of us is working from home.Originally we would extend at the back but the cost of extending is more expensive than doing the garage conversion.
The middle grey part is part from the previous extension from previous owners. It’s a metal.

We want utility/mudroom with a shower.

RE we dont have a big budget.....you have several areas of changes along w a new kitchen. I would suggest a PLAN A and Plan B and even Plan C due to quotes potentially /likely altering the project [s] Might be wise to show pictures of your actual spaces. Sometimes phases over longer time frame can help you get this all accomplished w less financial disruption

You need to determine what your budget is and be realistic about what it can cover. A Kitchen remodel isn't cheap and converting an outside space (garage) to an "inside" space probably isn't either.

What is the average cost of a Kitchen remodel in your area? Will your budget cover it?

Ditto your garage modifications.

I'm guessing you're not in the USA (primary measurements are metric on the floorplan), so I couldn't even hazard a guess!
