No a fan of tiles so thinking about using luxury vinyl tile or maybe cork flooring in 40 sq ft guest bath. Vanity is white, lighting is brushed brass and fixtures are brushed brass. Subfloor is wood.

I'd lean towards sheet vinyl in a bathroom, as it's sure to be waterproof. No lines, no problems. Softer than tile, so easier on joints and dropped items are less likely to break. Also cheaper to buy /install, so if it doesn't last as long as tile, it's okay.

In a perfect world, your counter top and your floor coordinate. Not necessarily match, but coordinate.

Cork flooring may absorb water if the finish isn't completely waterproof. Sheet vinyl is a much better choice since there are no seams, unlike LVT.
