Not a pro ... but love the color of blue on your vanity. I would paint your mirror frame the color of your walls. Let the vanity be the star.

I find the mirror feels quite heavy and I’d definitely paint it. The vanity will become more impactful and consider adding art on the opposite wall.

I like the vanity color. If it looks bright to you I think it's just because it's a change. Hopefully it will grow on you. If it doesn't, look for a blue with more gray which would look less vibrant. I agree with everyone else about painting the frame of the mirror the same as the wall color - or the trim color if you like that better. It should be a color that works with the vanity top. You're right, the gray doesn't work.

The vanity is reading to me as being on the royal blue side of blue. Was that what you were after? You could go more of a deep navy for a deeper color
