Mini-split for mild climate; 110/115V; 12,000 BTUs

last month

After meeting with seven HVAC contractors, I have decided that the best configuration to add A/C to my home is to install two single-head mini-splits (one on each floor). I am limited to 110/115V to power each split. I am interested in products that use either R-32 or R-454b refrigerants.

I live in a mild climate and would use A/C about two months out of the year. I have a natural-gas powered forced-air furnace in the attic.

I am looking for a product that would qualify for the heat-pump tax incentive for this year (2025). Are there any that meet this requirement? Or is it only in the high-performance heat pumps for cold climates?
