Right now, the fireplace itself seems to cluttered. You could look at doing the mirror in the middle on the mantle, with the two candlesticks one either side of the mirror. Then place a basket on the bottom. Otherwise, nothing else is really needed. Note how plain and simple this fireplace design of ours is:

I’d brutally cull a lot of the assortment. For me,the brass framed mirror doesn’t work right above the brass screen— too similar but not interesting. Paint the feet of the screen black. On the hearth keep only the plant and 2 green candle holders. On the manntle keep the 2 colorful abstracts, maybe slightly overlapping and the orange vase filled with something that looks a bit fresher yet still seasonal. Nothing centered, nothing symmetric.
