Not have a busy wallpaper. The tile
Is a tan travertine the vanity and fixtures are updated. What do you think. I would like to go with a soft safe green or dusty blue or
Something with a gold /cream. Is the one pic too
Busy for this small
Room? Any suggestions ? Thanks
I’ll try and post more wallpaper ideas

The cool gray of the wallpaper doesn't go well with the warm tones of your tile. Look at mariakillam.com for discussions about the undertones of neutral colors and how to coordinate them.

Personally, I like the last one, but it may be too gray for your room. I'm not a fan of metallic, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe something more beige/gold than gray.

There are many wallpaper options to choose from. Since you're unable to change the flooring, you'll just want to make sure what you choose doesn't clash with what you already have. Try looking at some bathroom designs on here, along with other wallpaper designs that have the tones in the travertine in them. Below are a few wallpapers we have used in powder room and laundry room designs for our clients.

Suggest a subtle, textured look - enough to be interesting while not fighting with the room.

I like the first one posted with original inquiry.

    I think Maureen nailed it.

I like the one with red. Your counter is not a great match to your shower or floor.

What color exactly is the vanity please? Please don't say gray, but I fear you will : ) I would not be inclined to paper at all, unless there is a very infrequent use of that shower.

It's really not a "3/4 bath" ( old term ) , it is a full bath that happens to be small and has no tub. Water for bathing a body is what it is. Water and humidity.

Assuming the vanity is green, I would match it and paint the walls or just go a shade lighter and PAINT the walls. Add art!

Failing that? Look at vinyl grass cloth which comes in wonderful colors and amazing textures, but will stand up to dampness.

None of the papers above, Sorry: )

IMO no wallpaper with that shower and why a shower at all next to a kitchen. Sorry but that tile drives the bus and should have been changed while this was being done.

You have plenty of wall space for a patterned wallpaper. I'd steer clear of small "busy" patterns. Not sure what appels to you, but don't be afraid of going big patterns for impact. Good Luck!

The color of the vanity is SW Sandy Ridge. I would have changed the floor and shower but was going to be an extra $22k. I had the kitchen redone at same time so didn't want to spend that

I would love a paint color suggestion that is not tan or off white .

The SW website suggests 3 colors that go well with Sandy Ridge; Panda White, Downing Sand, and Link Gray. Get samples of them and see how they look with your tile. They also have a feature that lets you upload a picture of your space and then "paint" it with the color of your choice.

You're HERE, with possibly the saddest vanity color I've seen in a while? : )

I'd want the shower "obliterated" If not very frequently used, also makes humidity less an issue. There are ways to do that and it means you mount a much longer/custom shower curtain at the ceiling, have it made. Once you do that, the shower literally disappears - it works best with a pattern everywhere

    Something more this...?

    Thibault below

Paint away the vanity to Ben Moore Swiss Coffee! The S.W color does not one thing for the Taj Mahal Top. Drains the top of vitality and does same for the room

    Paper the room

Have a shower curtain made to match.

    PRESTO..

I am dealing with the same unattractive shower, accent tile, and floors. Your vanity is a lot nicer than mine. I have no problem with the color. Were this my space I would paint it a dark moody olive green. Again, as I said below, make the shower disappear with a curtain.

I’m with Jan on this one. Find a fabulous wallpaper that has a matching fabric. Enclose the whole room in the pattern and no one will care about the floor. Then buy wonderful towels and a rug.

Oh boy - my shower should be obliterated ? I'm not a hillbilly, I would never put a shower

Curtain in this small bath off my kitchen. Jan, you need a little more tact. I just asked for ideas to make it look nice without spending $22k. Paint sounds like a good suggestion.

Also, Jan Moyer that is the saddest wallpaper suggestion I've seen in a long time! How ingenious of you to recommend Swiss Coffee!

Yes, I find the effect of vanity color with floor and shower.....combined..........

I'll use "dreary" and a tad browned out. Sorry, it's opinion I'll change the word, and no, it doesn't mean you have to like that particular paper, or either paper! It was simply an example of scale and color as you DID reference "sage green".

In a small space, a larger scale paper visually expands space, Yes, I have several times "disappeared" a shower with a custom shower curtain! It simply reads as a wall versus an opening in a wall with tile.

Paint it a sage green hang some art! The powder room police aren't coming.

    Do you. : ) !
