Yes, Roman shades will work well on the windows. You could then do long curtains on the sliders, similar to the first image of ours posted below.

That said, I like the windows. Consider a rug under table (at least 2 ft wider all around the table for sizing.) . You want the chairs to be on the rug when pulled back from the table. For added texture, put two fabric end chairs, Also, the chandelier you have is not the correct size, and it doesn't make a statement. (size around 1/2 half the width (meaning the longer) of the table.

Inside mount anything will not work with window cranks. Nor will it work on patio door. My roman shades are mounted on the top frame of the double hung windows. During the day when the shades are up you can see the beautiful wood trim. If you use Roman shades on windows with cranks they will not cover the window entirely. Something to think about if you need zero light for sleeping.
