Seems like a cool idea I guess my big issue would be any kind of issue with cold air getting into th house . I think you need to talk to the supplier in your area about using it where you live. A covered porch is not a warm spsce and not sure where you are in Ontario but I live in Canada and not where it is warm in the winter so always worried about cold air entering the home . I am curious about the need for the FP in a covered porch ?
